Finally last Wednesday we managed to get back to in-person rehearsals. We were all delighted to welcome our new MD, Hugh Beckwith, as this was the first time he has actually heard us! As you can see we were all socially distanced and we're allowed to meet inside because we are receiving a payment for a forthcoming event.

Like many amateur choirs around England we had hoped to get back to in-person rehearsals this week. Unfortunately the guidance was published late, and was not what had been anticipated. Only 6 singers are allowed to rehearse indoors. We can meet outside and sing, but currently the weather is looking a bit unsettled. So, we'll carry on zooming!

We're delighted to say that our new costumes have arrived, and we're looking forward to wearing these new floaty blouses sometime this summer. Look out for our next performance in the Walled Garden.

We are delighted to announce that Hugh Beckwith has been appointed as our interim MD. Hugh comes with a wealth of musical experience and knowledge, and we look forward to meeting in person when he can actually hear us!
