I have always enjoyed singing but the last group I was involved with had shut down and I was looking for an opportunity to sing somewhere close to home.
I had never come across ladies barbershop style singing before and was a little uncertain about it, but a friend invited me to a free short course to come along and try it out.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and very supportive and it wasn't long before I felt very much at home and happily joined the chorus as a new Bass singer
